The Maasai Mara is rewarding throughout the year, but each season offers a different experience.
Dry season
Roughly June to October, shorter grass and concentrated water sources make wildlife easier to find. This window often overlaps with the wildebeest migration, although its timing changes year to year.
Green season
The rains bring lush landscapes, fewer vehicles and often lower rates. Some tracks become muddier, so flexibility helps.
Our advice
Choose your dates around what matters most to you — crowds, budget, photography light or migration chances — and we'll plan accordingly.
